Wolfskin by Juliet MarillierMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Juliet Marillier writes lovely early medieval fantasy and fairy-tales, and Wolfskin is no exception. Rife with references to both Norse and Celtic mythologies, treating both and Christianity with respect, Wolfskin is readable by those who have only limited knowledge of medieval mythologies but deeper and more delightful for those who have more knowledge of the mythologies and medieval storytelling techniques.
The end is a bit slow and drags just a little, but there is a lot to wrap up and presumably set up for the next book, Foxmask.
